Nur Dinie Damia laid to rest in Pontian

The seven-year-old girl Nur Dinie Damia Muhammad Noor Ain, who died of kidney and liver failure at the Sultanah Aminah Hospital on Monday night, January 13, was laid to rest at the Parit Haji Sirat Darat Muslim cemetery in Kampung Kayu Ara Pasong near Pontian on Tuesday morning, January 14.

The girl came down with a fever before being referred to the hospital last Friday.

She was previously suspected to be infected with influenza but tested negative for the disease.

Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Dr Sahruddin Jamal in confirming the matter said this was based on the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test conducted on the girl.
