November 1 bank holiday in Murcia: Shops, supermarkets and ...
So which stores are staying open this national holiday in the Region of Murcia?
On November 1, the shops in the Nueva Condomina, Thader and Atalayas shopping centres in Murcia capital city and Parque Almenara in Lorca will all be open to the public, as will the Espacio Mediterráneo mall in Cartagena and the Dos Mares shopping centre in San Javier.
Other stores such as IKEA and Media Markt will also be open on November 1.
The Cartagena street market, which is held every Wednesday in Ribera de San Javier, next to the Cenit shopping centre, will be open to the public at its usual time tomorrow.
The main supermarket chains that are open and shut on All Saints’ Day 2023 MercadonaMercadona closes on Sundays and public holidays, and this coming November 1 will be no exception. While all Mercadona stores will be closed this Wednesday, the rest of the week their shops will be open as usual from Monday to Saturday from 9am to 9.30pm.
CarrefourCarrefour has a more flexible policy than other supermarkets when it comes to deciding whether or not to open on public holidays. Most Carrefour shops will be staying open this Wednesday, but a few will choose to close for the day. Basically, then, it depends on your local Carrefour whether they open or not. Here you can check the opening hours of your nearest Carrefour.
