Ariana Grande Spotted Sans Wedding Ring

The Wimbledon finals took place over the weekend, giving fashion fans plenty of celebrity outfits to dissect. But of all the tennis looks spotted in the stands, one stood out to especially detail-oriented observers: Ariana Grande, in a gray, knitted Ralph Lauren top-and-skirt set, circular, reflective blue sunglasses, and no wedding ring.

Photos from Sunday show Grande, who has been living in London while filming the film adaptation of Wicked, sitting between her co-star Jonathan Bailey and friend Andrew Garfield. In several shots, her fingers are visible and definitely bare. While there are several alternate explanations as to why she wasn’t wearing her ring — last August, when Grande posted a makeup tutorial without the diamond, she assured her followers it was getting cleaned — TMZ is now claiming that the singer and her real-estate husband, Dalton Gomez, have separated. Meanwhile, a source supposedly told People that Grande and Gomez separated earlier this year, but “have been quietly and lovingly working on their friendship.”

Grande and Gomez were first spotted together in early 2020, making out at a restaurant in Northridge, California; before long, they were quarantining together as the COVID pandemic kicked off. They got married in an intimate ceremony at Grande’s Montecito home in May 2021, and apart from occasional social-media posts by the pop star, the couple have kept their relationship private. Still, to mark their second wedding anniversary in May, Grande shared a photo of herself and Gomez to her Instagram Story, writing, “I love him so.”
