Miraz along with Najmul Hossain Shanto have added 70-plus stand for the third wicket after Bangladesh endured double blow right after the end of first powerplay. Earlier, Miraz and Mohammad Naim gave Bangladesh a positive start after they won the toss and opted to bat in the must-win encounter. The pair added 60 runs for the opening wicket before Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Gulbadin Naib struck in quick succession. Naim was dismissed for 28(32), and Towhid Hridoy got out for a 2-ball duck.
