Barcelona are gearing up for a busy few days ahead as the club look to make desperate attempts to reinforce the squad, with Jonathan Tah emerging as the latest target.

However, Barcelona’s bid to bring in new players could come at the cost of a few more departures as it is essential for the club to trim the squad and reduce the inflated wage bill.

In fact, it won’t be surprising to see the club consider the sale of even the top players, in an attempt to trim the wage bill.

Only one non-transferrable player at Barcelona

As Barcelona face intense pressure to trim the wage bill, the club has given the ‘untouchable’ status to only one player.

Journalist Adrian Sanchez has informed Barça Universal that Lamine Yamal is the only player at Barcelona, who is considered ‘not for sale’.

This ‘untouchable’ status comes as no surprise given the 17-year-old’s meteoric rise over the past 12 months.

Yamal has quickly established himself as one of the brightest young talents in European football, drawing comparisons to none other than Lionel Messi.

His flair, vision, and maturity beyond his years have made him a cornerstone of Barcelona’s future, a sentiment echoed by the club’s management who view him as central to their long-term plans.

However, this also means every other Barcelona star are expendable. Despite their importance on the pitch, key players like Ronald Araujo, Frenkie de Jong, and even superstar Robert Lewandowski are not immune to potential exits if the right offer comes along.

The stark reality is that everyone has a price—everyone, that is, except for one player.
