Jungkook is taking a break from his regularly scheduled Weverse lives to shake up the world of fashion. The members of BTS continue to take the fashion scene by storm, fronting multiple global campaigns and landing various ambassadorships with powerhouses. The latest? Jungkook as the newest Global Brand Ambassador for Calvin Klein Jeans and Calvin Klein Underwear.

Following a simple teaser unveiled via social media, Calvin Klein officially announced Jungkook's new global ambassadorship on March 28, 2023. Commenting on his new role, Jungkook said, “I have been a fan of Calvin Klein for a long time, and I'm thrilled to be their newest global ambassador. This partnership is very special, as Calvin Klein's heritage and brand values resonate with me. My music is how I communicate with my fans around the world, and I see this partnership as an opportunity to connect with them in a new way. I'm incredibly excited for people to see a new side of me in this first campaign for the brand.”

Calvin Klein's Global CMO Jonathan Bottomley also discussed why Jungkook joining the Calvin Klein family made all the sense in the world. “We pride ourselves on identifying globally relevant talent whose cultural impact and values align with our own. Jungkook is one of the world's most popular artists; he possesses a rare ability to connect with international audiences through both his music and his style. We're fortunate and excited to have him join the Calvin Klein team.”

The new campaign featuring Jungkook was shot by Park Jong Ha. It features the Calvin Klein Spring 2023 collection with Jungkook wearing the '90s Straight Jeans, Relaxed Fit Denim Shirt, Oversized Denim Jacket, and Relaxed Fit Standard Logo Crewneck Tee. To coincide with the announcement, Teen Vogue got three exclusive behind-the-scenes pictures from the shoot, which you can check out below:
