Mauricio Pochettino has named an unchanged line-up as Chelsea bid to win the Carabao Cup against Liverpool.

The Blues arrive at Wembley with confidence renewed following three unbeaten matches on the road. That must be harnessed under the famous arch as we attempt to lift the first trophy of Mauricio Pochettino's tenure.

Djordje Petrovic, who played a crucial role in our quarter-final victory over Newcastle United, keeps his place in goal for the Blues. Robert Sanchez makes his return from injury and is among the substitutes.

Malo Gusto starts at right-back and the central defensive partnership is Axel Disasi and Levi Colwill. Ben Chilwell begins at left-back and will captain the side this afternoon in the absence of Reece James.

Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez will patrol central midfield and, as was the case against Manchester City last time out, the duo will be supported by the indefatigable Conor Gallagher.

Cole Palmer starts for the Blues and is expected to be deployed off the right of the attack. Raheem Sterling – our scorer at the Etihad Stadium – will begin off the left. Nicolas Jackson will spearhead the frontline.

Chelsea: Petrovic; Gusto, Disasi, Colwill, Chilwell (c); Caicedo, Enzo; Palmer, Gallagher, Sterling; Jackson

Chelsea substitutes: Sanchez, Bettinelli, Chalobah, Gee, Gilchrist, Tauriainen, Madueke, Mudryk, Nkunku
