Millevoi in Top 10 After Opening Round of NEC Championship

PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. – Ryan Millevoi shot a 71/1-under par to finish the first day of the Northeast Conference Men's Golf Championship tied for eighth Friday at Callaway Resort & Gardens.   The junior put up five birdies in his first 18 holes of competition, including two in a row at holes 17 and 18. His performance helped Binghamton finish the first round tied for fifth at 300/12-over par.   Three shots behind Millevoi is Evan Sitts, who is tied for 16th at 74/2-over par. The fifth year golfer, who is playing in his final collegiate tournament, entered the championship having finished in the top 20 in each of his last four competitions.   Sean Shen is tied for 29th at 77/5-over par. Brandon Conner is one shot behind him at 78/6-over par, putting him in a tie for 33rd. Harrison Blech would have his score removed from the Bearcats' total after he finished tied for 44th at 80/8-over par.   The second round begins on Saturday at 7:50 a.m.
