With Christmas rapidly approaching, we’ve spoken to a number of Chelsea players across our men’s and women’s teams to find out about their favourite holiday memories as we count down to the big day.

We caught up with Reece James who highlighted what’s important to him during the festive season – while also issuing a special Christmas message to Chelsea supporters all around the globe.

‘A traditional Christmas for me growing up was all about my friends and family,’ the defender explains.

‘I was excited to open presents when I was younger, and I hoped most of the presents were football-related!

‘One moment stands out for me at Christmas. When I was around 10, I always wanted to be a goalkeeper and I got a pair of goalkeeper gloves that I always wanted.’
