Off the post: First real chance for Messi - he gets the ball and shoots low at the Chile goal. Despite the distance, the shot travels at a lightning-fast pace, hits the outside of the post and goes out of play. Bravo was a mere spectator as the ball came at him.

A Chile clearance sends the ball high up in the air. Bravo ends up misjudging the flight of the ball and does not go for the clearance. Suazo catches Messi from behind. It is a late challenge and Argentina gets a freekick. That was a painful one for the Albiceleste skipper and needs some magic spray to ease the pain.
