Liverpool are really hogging the ball with a gifted midfield. Well-balanced and disciplined, a couple of balls over the top is stopped. Yet the hosts can't get a solid touch on the ball it seems. Gakpo cuts in from the left eventually, but lashes his powerful curling effort high and wide to the right of Henderson's goal.

The Reds defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 at Molineux Stadium in their last league match, leaving them atop the table on 15 points, a point ahead of City through six matches. For Oliver Glasner's Crystal Palace, it's perhaps not the best time to play in-form Liverpool, as they still look to register their first win of the Premier League season. Last time out, they lost to Everton 2-1 at Goodison Park. This extended their winless start to the season to six (W0 D3 L3). That said, Palace will take comfort from the fact they won the last Premier League clash between the sides, triumphing 1-0 at Anfield last season.
