Interestingly, the director of Beckham’s docuseries plays an acting role in the HBO show ‘Succession’. After four thrilling seasons of dark comedy, the fans now possibly categorize it as one of the best TV dramas of all time. In a recent interview, Stevens was mainly speaking about different aspects surrounding the final season of Succession.
But the interviewer managed to slip in a question about the David Beckham docuseries. The question was basically trying to decipher how different are the Beckhams on and off camera. Regarding the same, he told Insider, “Well, I’ll just tell you they are a lot different in this movie than anyone has ever seen them”.

“I don’t think anyone understands their life really and what they have gone through and the journey they have taken. I’ve spent a year and a half making this so I love it, but I think it’s going to surprise the hell out of people”. Honestly, this was quite a revelation for every soccer fan out there.

Recently during an event, Netflix dropped a teaser of the upcoming documentary. Through that, most of the fanbase witnessed the soccer veteran’s OCD problem for the first time.

In the clip, David Beckham mentioned that he truly hated mornings. That was simply because he couldn’t stand witnessing a messy hall room every day. With cups and bowls lying all around the place, it quite triggered the OCD problem inside him. Shockingly, he also revealed that he used to clip the candle wax on every candle in his house.

He said, “I clip the candle wax, I clean the glass, that’s my pet hate, the smoke around the inside of a candle. I know, it’s weird”. Throughout his career, the soccer legend has not garnered a lot of haters. That is simply because he was always a blessing to watch on the soccer pitch. And after his retirement, he is busy trying to cultivate and promote soccer in America.
