In response to growing demand, the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) in Kannur has introduced a series of tour packages for December, offering travellers unique experiences across Kerala and neighbouring States.
The KSRTC has introduced a tour package to Malakkappara-Kuttanad. Departing from Kannur at 8 p.m. on December 6, the tour arrives in Alappuzha at 5 a.m. the next day. The itinerary includes a visit to the Coir Museum, a speedboat cruise through Kuttanad’s backwaters, and visits to Alappuzha Beach, Athirapally and Vazhachal waterfalls, and a jungle ride through Malakkappara forest.
The Gavi-Kumily-Ramakkalmedu package is scheduled for December 6 and 20. The itinerary covers visits to Gavi on the first day, followed by Kumily, Kambam, Ramakkalmedu, and Thekkady on the second day.
The KSRTC will also operate the Mookambika-Kodachadri package for spiritual tourism, while adventure enthusiasts can opt for the Vagamon-Chathurangapara package, departing on December 13 and 24.
The Munnar-Kanthallur-Marayur package, departing on December 13, 20, and 27, offers a blend of nature and culture. Shorter yet equally captivating tours include the Wayanad and Paithalmala packages on 8 and 22 December.
The Ranipuram package, departing on 15 December, combines the lush Ranipuram Hill Station with historical visits to Bekal Fort and Bekal Beach. Meanwhile, the Kozhikode package, on 15 and 29 December, covers hidden gems like Janakikkad, Meen Tullippara, Peruvannamuzhi Dam, Kariyathumpara, and Thonikadavu Tower.
