Group B's second match of the night kicks off at the top of the hour as Mexico and Venezuela face off at SoFi Stadium in California.

As mentioned earlier, a win or draw for Venezuela will eliminate Jamaica from knockout-stage contention.

They did score their first-ever goal today, but that pales in comparison to the 13 total goals they have conceded.

Enjoyable game, that. I don't think Ecuador have quite clicked in the way they will want to — Kendry Paez was relatively quiet and the full backs fell back after the interval especially — but they can think about that in the next game. For now, they are up and running, which is exactly what was needed after the defeat to Venezuela.

Quite a baffling decision really, not helped by the fact that the referee's microphone did not work while he explained his decision.
