28 Dec 2023
EPL

In this fast-paced crunch of festive-season fixtures, to pull ahead of your rivals in FPL, you need (positive) differentials. Keep an eye on these under-the-radar players – They’re the secret weapons that can seriously boost your points when it matters. As the fixtures keep rolling in, spotting these hidden gems becomes the key to green arrows in FPL.

Here are our sneaky picks for this week...

Christopher Nkunku (£7.4m, LUT vs CHE)

Ownership 3.3%

Nkunku already has a goal from the bench! Chelsea’s upcoming fixtures are looking pretty tempting, so imagine what he can do now that he is starting!

Gabriel Jesus (£8.0m, FUL vs ARS)

Ownership 5.6%

Gabriel Jesus is becoming a hot choice for many managers. He has three goals plus two assists this season. Now Arsenal has a sweet run for the next eight games. In GW-20 he visits Fulham, and the Cottagers aren’t exactly acing the clean sheets this season. Plus, with Jesus chilling at a cool 5.6% ownership, taking a gamble on him might just be the secret sauce for that green arrow.

Dominic Calvin Lewin (£5.8m, WOL vs EVE)

Ownership: 1.2%

DCL’s back in the game, and with Everton facing Wolves away, he’s bound to get some good playtime. He might not be the DCL we knew two seasons ago, but he’s currently leading the xG game in the Everton squad. If you’re after someone a bit off the usual radar, then DCL is your guy.

Antony Elanga (£5.0m, NFO vs MUN)

Ownership:1.5%

Facing former club Man United, Elanga is eager to make a statement, and this is against a defense we know to be shaky. With an impressive 17 points in his last two games, he has caught our attention, and over 19,000 FPL managers have already bought him for the coming game-week.

Micheal Olise (£5.8m, CRY vs BRE)

Ownership: 0.5%

Olise has three goals in six starts for Palace, and he most recently showcased his brilliance against Chelsea, repeatedtly infiltrating dangerous areas and delivering killer passes. Remember, he found the net against Man City, provided an assist against Brighton, and scored again against Chelsea. Next opponent is Brentford, which has conceded in all of the last nine matches.
