Before diving into the details of his viral video, let us take a look at Taneja’s Instagram post and Rathee’s reported concerns about infidelity and custody of their children.

Gaurav Taneja’s Instagram post

The YouTuber and former AirAsia pilot took to Instagram to implore his followers to “stop making assumptions” about his married life. He stated, “I will remain quiet for my kids and the mother of my child. Ready to live with all the negativity and hate for my entire life.”

Taneja further emphasised that “social media is not a place to discuss family matters”, indicating that people should not expect explanations from him.

“Men are made villains very fast. We don’t cry, we talk less and express less. Some of us are hardwired like that,” he reflected, expressing hope that “everything will be sorted out soon”.

Alongside, he shared a creative that roughly translates to: “Those who love me, I love in return.”

IIT Kharagpur alum’s statement came after fans reportedly spotted Rathee at the ‘Bhajan Marg’ by Premanand Maharaj, where she expressed concerns about her personal life. While Rathee, a captain on the Airbus A320, did not directly address the divorce and cheating rumours, she did reshare Taneja’s post on her Instagram Story.

What did Gaurav Taneja say in the viral video?

“Let me discuss something very important with you all. When you become a couple and a baby is born, especially husbands, they often feel neglected during the first two to three months. This is because the mother spends all her time with the baby,” said Taneja in the video.

He then shared that Rathee is sleeping while he records the video as the baby keeps her awake all night, adding, “So when the baby sleeps, the mother sleeps. There’s hardly any time for you with your wife.”

“Most extramarital affairs, about 80-82 per cent, happen when you just have a baby. Looks a bit counterintuitive, as you should be more attached as a couple, but the fact is or numbers say that,” the 38-year-old YouTuber claimed.

Taneja further advised husbands to exercise some “self-control,” stating that “the child your wife is nurturing is also your child, and she is working harder than you are”.

“If you meet someone outside, like a friend, and you have a good conversation, sharing coffee or lunch together, slowly a connection begins to develop. And since you aren’t talking with your wife, you don’t share anything, and gradually that attachment grows. The other person starts to seem appealing, which can lead to issues,” the father of two went on to say.

Flying Beast stressed, “This is my second time. It doesn’t concern me.”
