By India Today Information Desk: Gmail users can mark specific groups and messages as favourites, making them more easily accessible. On the left-hand navigation panel, these favourite groups and conversations are listed separately. When an item is marked as a favourite, it is viewable solely to the account owner and displayed in their account as chosen.

To speed up the process, use Google Groups, an email collaboration tool that can handle everything from maintaining a simple mailing list to developing a Q&A email forum and more.

STEPS TO MARK GROUPS AND MESSAGES AS FAVOURITES:

Step 1: Navigate to your Gmail account.

Step 2: Choose the message or group you wish to save for your Favourite.

Step 3: Next to the message or group name, click the star icon.

Step 4: The star will become yellow to indicate that the message or group has been designated as a Favourite.

Step 5: The message or group will now display in the left-hand navigation panel's "Starred" category.

Step 6: Simply click on the yellow star symbol again to remove a message or group from your Favourites, and it will revert to its previous status.

Step 7: It's worth noting that with Gmail, designating a message or group as a Favourite is a quick and easy method to keep track of key messages or conversations.
