Hayley Matthews, the West Indies Women skipper is the Player of the Match for her all-around performance.   She says that they did not do their best in the previous game and the girls turned up today to showcase a fine result. Adds that they were happy to chase the score set by India Women. Credits Smriti Mandhana for her knock by also lauds Deandra Dottin and other bowlers who did a fine job at the backend of the India Women innings.

West Indies Women had a collectively decent day with the ball and most of their bowlers chipped in with key wickets. West Indies Women will be delighted with the win while India Women will want to bounce back after this loss.

Chasing 160 for the win, the openers - Qiana Joseph and Hayley Matthews attacked from the start and added 66 runs inside seven overs. Qiana Joseph departed for a quick fire 38 but Hayley Matthews carried on and in the company of Shemaine Campbelle took her side to a thumping victory.
