Jakarta (VNA) – Indonesia and Brazil sealed cooperation agreements worth 2.65 billion USD in the areas of renewable energy, sustainable agriculture and technology at the Indonesia – Brazil Business Forum held in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, on November 18 on the sidelines of the G20 Summit.
At the event, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto laid stress on the country’s commitment to encouraging sustainable development through partnerships with nations like Brazil.
Through collaboration in key areas such as renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, and carbon emission reduction, the two sides can shape up a better future for both nations while contributing to global development goals, he added.
Brazil has made significant progress in its industries, while Indonesia is catching up through industrialisation, he said, highlighting the bilateral cooperation is expected to create mutually beneficial opportunities./.
