The updated platform will provide employees with an easier way to get important information when they need it.

Key features

Streamlined navigation: Offers a more intuitive layout to provide visually appealing access to news and information from across the institution and its missions. Easier access to HR updates: Provides the latest Human Resources-related news that employees can use. Enhanced efficiency: Provides information internal audiences need to know to do their jobs more effectively and efficiently. More multimedia access: Provides greater integration of multimedia resources, offering employees critical information in multiple formats.

Why the new look?

The updated platform will better meet the needs of a dynamic and growing workforce as the institution’s needs continue to grow and evolve.

The redesign of the intranet was based on feedback from employees gathered over six months through a university-wide survey of all employees and students, multiple focus group sessions and stakeholder interviews. The goal is to provide a more-intuitive platform with faster access to needed information, such as Human Resources pages.

The new look will serve as an interim solution until a more robust digital workplace is created later next year that will include an expanded digital signage network throughout the institution’s many facilities, and a new mobile experience that will give all employees — including those without access to a computer— an opportunity to remain connected with the institution’s most critical applications and information.

Keep an eye out for more information about this updated platform.
