Korean-American K-pop star and rapper Jay Park has made his entry into the online subscription-based platform OnlyFans.

On June 25, the 37-year-old posted the news on Instagram. Below two promotional shots of himself for his new single McNasty and a QR code that leads to his OnlyFans account, he wrote: “Follow ya boi on Onlyfans #McNasty out June 30”.

While the images and video uploaded onto Park’s OnlyFans account are available to view for subscribers only, it is currently free to subscribe to his account.

Some of what he uploaded onto OnlyFans, such as promotional shots for McNasty, are also available on his Instagram account. He also uploaded a six-second clip of himself dancing in the music video for McNasty. A separate clip from the same music video shoot is available on his Instagram account.

But there is racier and more suggestive content that is exclusive to his OnlyFans account.

One is a photo of Park lying topless in bed with red lingerie strewn across his chest. Another is a 14-second video seemingly shot in a bathroom from between Park’s legs. In it, he is clad in shorts and appears to be dripping sweat. He introduces himself as Mr McNasty and adds: “I know this angle is crazy. Bear with me. McNasty comes out June 30, let’s get it.”

Both the image and the video were leaked and circulated on social media platforms such as X and Weibo soon after their release.

Park’s entry to OnlyFans has sparked discussion on social media, and his Instagram post of the announcement has garnered almost 7,000 comments, with many fans stunned and wondering if he was joking.

Founded in 2016, OnlyFans is a subscription-based video platform and social media network that allows creators to upload content and garner subscribers for it. Subscribers can support creators via monthly subscription fees, tips or pay-per-view.

While the platform can be used by all content creators, be it fitness, lifestyle or musicians, it is primarily known for pornographic and sexually explicit content uploaded by sex workers.

The heavily tattooed Park, who was born and raised in Washington, US, made his debut as part of the South Korean boy band 2PM in 2008, but quickly left the group in 2009 after netizens took issue with unfavourable comments he made about South Korea in his personal Myspace posts in 2005.

Since then, he has made a career as a solo artiste, with popular songs like Joah (2013), Mommae (2015) and All I Wanna Do (K) (2016). He is also known for founding the independent hip hop record labels AOMG and H1ghr Music, and appeared as a celebrity judge on reality talent show Asia’s Got Talent (2015 to 2019).

Park has always had a sexier and more risque image than typical K-pop stars. The music video for Mommae – with lyrics about lusting after a woman’s body – features scenes of him partying with scantily clad women. He also often goes topless in live performances of the song.
