Kai Cenat and MrBeast gave fans a sparkling show on Twitch (Twitch)

After Kai Cenat and MrBeast gave away £243,000 to fans watching on Twitch, the room exploded with fireworks, but it’s not quite what it seemed.

Kai Cenat has become one of the most popular streamers on Twitch, thanks to his celebrity-filled collaborations, including a record-breaking broadcast with comedian Kevin Hart and actor Druski.

Last week, Cenat also got hold of MrBeast’s credit card, and went back to his community to hand out gifts such as phones and shoes.

The collaboration with MrBeast has continued this week, when the two met on Cenat’s stream, where they planned to give away $250,000 (£195,000) to fans watching, and blew up Cenat’s room with fireworks… or did they?

The stream started innocently enough, with Cenat and MrBeast negotiating how they were going to give away the £195,000, mostly ignoring the wall of fireworks behind them.

They decided to give $10,000 (£7,000) to 25 fans, some of who correctly guessed a number they were thinking of and some who got picked at random.

The two managed to pick too many winners, and ended up with 31 giveaways, which meant they would fork out $310,000 (£243,000) instead.

‘Oops,’ MrBeast said, adding, ‘Hey, he needs to do another Elden Ring stream.’

Not long after, Cenat’s friend Davis arrived with more fireworks, which he said was ‘for professional use only’.

MrBeast promptly left the room, as Cenat shouted at Davis not to ignite the firework, which was placed on top of all the other firework.

Davis didn’t listen and ignited the box, which blew up moments after they ran out the room, as fans could only hear the loud sounds of fireworks through the smoke.

The stunt has been debunked, however, as fans have found proof that the room was a replica of Cenat’s actual streaming room.

As seen below, the room is slightly different to the room Cenat usually streams in.

It’s also worth mentioning that setting hundreds of firework off inside, while filming yourself, would not only be a serious fire risk, but you’d struggle to get anything back from the insurer.

It’s a great stunt though, that seems to have fooled many on social media, and another example of the lengths Cenat is willing to go to in order to entertain his fans.
