Kylian Mbappé still dreaming of move to Real Madrid
On Friday, PSG returned from their tour of Japan, with the squad having two days off before returning to training on Monday. According to RMC Sport, Kylian Mbappé will not train with the rest of Luis Enrique’s squad until his future is resolved.
PSG contacted his entourage during the Asian tour to notify them that they would not hesitate to leave him in the stands for the entire season. The decision, drastic in every way, is nothing more than an ultimatum for the captain of the French national team to agree to be sold, even though he wants to see out the last year of his contract.
What cannot be ruled out is that Mbappé will not play on August 12 against Lorient, in PSG’s first game of the season at the Parc des Princes. Sources consulted at the club say that it will be important to see the reception he gets from the club’s ultras. PSG can, by law, leave him out until September 3, the end of the transfer window. After that, they will not have the right to do so, but Luis Enrique could call him back in.

In Qatar, they don’t believe that Mbappé will spend the whole season in the stands, quite the opposite. The only offer, which has not yet arrived, that could make him change his mind, is that of Real Madrid. If a Madrid offer does not come in this month and the forward remains in Paris in September, his return to the team would be likely.
The PSG dressing room believes that Qatar’s ‘bluff’ will not extend beyond the month of August, as long as the player remains in Paris. They even take it as a joke as no team can deprive itself of the best player in the world. Something similar happened with Neymar in 2019. After trying to force a move to Barcelona, the club left him out of the squad for the month of August, but immediately reintegrated him into the first team and ended up reaching the Champions League final in 2020.
Dreaming of Real MadridThe strained relationship between PSG and Mbappé is irreconcilable, as reported by Le Parisien. Mbappé, at least in public, continues to express his desire to play out the final year of his contract, but Les Parisiens are not willing to take the risk of losing him on a free next year. The newspaper also claims that Real Madrid could send an offer for the France captain after August 15. “If the offer is satisfactory, the soap opera will end immediately,” they report. Mbappé, according to Le Parisien, still dreams of playing for Real Madrid.
