Turkish companies interested in increase of trade with Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkiye Ruslan Kazakbaev made a presentation on economic opportunities of Kyrgyzstan during his working visit to the city of Konya, the Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan reported.

A business meeting with entrepreneurs from Konya province was organized jointly with the Anatolian Lions Businessmen Association ASKON.

The meeting brought together more than 100 representatives from various sectors of the Turkish economy, including heavy and light industry, agriculture, logistics, construction, tourism, information technology, advertising and others.

Ambassador Ruslan Kazakbaev presented information on benefits of investing in Kyrgyzstan, government support for priority sectors of the national economy, as well as the country’s tax policy. Specific projects that may be of interest to Konya entrepreneurs were highlighted in detail. For a deeper study of investment opportunities and organization of a business forum, Ambassador Kazakbaev invited members of the Association to visit Kyrgyzstan.

A visit to enterprises of ASKON members was organized, who expressed interest in increasing trade with Kyrgyzstan. In particular, such enterprises as “Cihan” (production of chocolate products), “Yemsa” (construction of a plant for the production of animal feed), “Führer” (production of spare parts for agricultural machinery) and “Şahin” (production of equipment for the production of confectionery), expressed interest in establishing cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.
