Los Angeles Lakers center Jaxson Hayes appears to be a big supporter of young entrepreneurs.

The 23-year-old was seen giving out cash to kids in Los Angeles on Thursday night.

Per TMZ Sports, the kids were actually trying to sell candy bars to Hayes. He declined that proposal, but still decided to give them some of his money anyway.

TMZ noted at one point Hayes appeared to get the phone number for one of the young men and wired him money because the kid can be heard screaming, "He just sent me $100!"

Hayes was at a Louis Vuitton event when the situation went down, so he was perhaps in a good mood after looking at the latest in high fashion. It's also plausible he just wanted to do something nice for young people.

Whatever reason Hayes had for handing out the money, his financial portfolio is going to be fine. He has made an estimated $24.3 million in his NBA career to date.

Hayes is in his first season with the Lakers after signing a two-year deal in June. He is averaging 4.0 points and 2.8 rebounds in 59 appearances.
