American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey has tied the knot with alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene less than a month after they first appeared in public as a couple.

The couple held their wedding reception in Des Allemandes, Louisiana – the same bayou where Mr Dufrene operates his swamp boat tours – on Sept 26, according to an exclusive report by The Daily Mail.

The British publication also ran photos and videos which feature Del Rey – whose real name is Elizabeth Grant – being walked down the aisle by her father Robert Grant with a floral bouquet in hand.

Del Rey, 39, and Mr Dufrene, 49, exchanged their vows before making their way to an outdoor reception held along the public harbour.

The couple’s nuptials came after American entertainment website TMZ reported on Sept 26 that they had picked up a marriage licence on Sept 23, which meant they had 30 days from the date to get married.

The marriage is the first for Del Rey and the second for Mr Dufrene, who has two daughters and a son from a previous relationship.

The couple have known each other for several years, with the star posting photos taken with him on social media as far back as March 2019, after taking one of his alligator tours with her friends.

The Summertime Sadness (2012) hitmaker jokingly captioned the photos: “Jeremy lemme be captain at Arthur’s Air Boat Tours.”

Mr Dufrene also wrote on Instagram about meeting Del Rey: “I never know who I can run across on my tours, but always a pleasure @lanadelrey.”

In May 2024, she tagged him in a photo on Instagram, referring to him as “my guy”.

In August, a TikTok user shared a brief video of them walking hand-in-hand at the Leeds Festival in England, which was headlined by Del Rey.

They appeared in public as a couple on Sept 7, when they attended the wedding of English model-singer Karen Elson and recording studio Electric Lady Studios co-owner Lee Foster in New York City, and were photographed holding hands after leaving the wedding venue at Electric Lady Studios.
