The local rivals already have a piece of silverware in the bag this season. United picked up the Carabao Cup before City retained the Premier League. United are now aiming to win both domestic cups in the same season for the first time.
There are not only bragging rights on offer for United. They must also win to stop City’s seemingly inevitable march to a famous Treble - matching United’s own famous success from 1999.
Here’s everything you need to know...

FA Cup final team news
Man City manager Guardiola is feeling more upbeat over a number of issues in his squad after fears over the fitness of key trio Jack Grealish, Kevin De Bruyne and Ruben Dias. He told reporters on Friday: "They have trained well. They are more or less fine."
Guardiola also confirmed that back-up goalkeeper Stefan Ortega will play, adding: “It's always been the same in the cups, even with Barcelona and Munich, so he's going to play in the FA Cup.”

Marcus Rashford will likely lead the line, supported by Jadon Sancho, Bruno Fernandes and potentially Alejandro Garnacho.
At the back, Raphael Varane will partner either Harry Maguire or Victor Lindelof. Luke Shaw is expected to be fit despite missing the recent 2-1 win over Fulham. It'll be a choice between Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot at right-back.
FA Cup final prediction
There is no team more likely to beat Manchester City in the FA Cup, and deny them a famous treble, than Manchester United (well, maybe Tottenham away), but I can’t see it happening this time.
A much-changed team lost to Brentford last time out, but City by and large come up trumps when required to, and their superiority across the pitch will shine through. Plus, Erling Haaland.
City to win 3-1.
