Gina-Maria Schumacher, daughter of Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher, has shared her first message since reports surfaced that her father made a rare public appearance at her wedding-his first in over a decade. Schumacher has remained out of the public eye since suffering a severe skiing accident in 2013 that left him in a coma for several months.

While his current condition has been kept private by the family, recent reports claim that he attended Gina-Maria's wedding in Majorca, making it his first public outing since the accident.

Gina-Maria, 27, took to Instagram shortly after the ceremony, posting a photo with her husband, Iain Bethke. The couple exchanged vows in an intimate setting at the family's villa in Majorca, surrounded by a small circle of guests who respected the Schumacher family's need for privacy.

The stunning villa, where the wedding took place, was purchased by Gina-Maria in 2017 for around £27 million from Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.

The ceremony itself was brief, lasting about 30 minutes, with the couple saying "I do" in the afternoon around 16:00. To maintain the family's privacy and protect Schumacher from public exposure, guests were subject to strict rules, including leaving phones and cameras outside to ensure no images or videos of the F1 icon were captured.

Gina-Maria and her new husband Iain share a love for horses, having met at a stable, and have built their lives around equestrian pursuits.

Schumacher's daughter has enjoyed a highly successful career as both a horse owner and rider, a passion that she shares with her mother, Corinna Betsch.
