Paolini, the No. 12 seed in the tennis tournament, defeated Elena Rybakina to make it to her very first Grand Slam Semis. Meanwhile the unseeded, 17-year-old Andreeva shocked the Open by beating No. 2 seed Aryna Sabalenka in the Quarterfinals.
