The Public Works Department will be cutting down a tree in Westmount Park on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
The tree is located near the playground and Library entrances facing Westmount Park. The tree is in an advanced state of deterioration and poses a danger to the public.
The path between the Public Library parking lot and the pond will be temporarily closed for a few hours to carry out the felling work.
