Odyssey Jones

Earlier this morning some fans noticed that

Odyssey Jones

has been removed from WWE’s

roster page

. Jones made his debut in August and instantly captivated the crowd by beating up the Authors of Pain in a show of dominance. After Jones’ debut a lot of people began to wonder whether was related to Mark Henry.
This is a question that is to be expected when you look at Odyssey Jones.

His build is similar to that of the WWE Hall of Famer and their fighting styles also have a ton of similarities. Clearly, Jones is an individual with a ton of potential which makes it even more shocking that he has suddenly been removed from WWE’s roster page.

Odyssey Jones is most likely still part of the WWE

Fans noticed that Trish Stratus was also removed from WWE’s roster page and was now listed in the alumni section. This is understandable since Stratus has been away for more than a year and there has been no indication of her return. Now, Jones is neither on the roster page nor on the alumni page.

Wrestlers are added to the alumni section after they part ways with the company. So, Jones’ absence from that list suggests that he is still part of the WWE. However, we haven’t been able to receive any official confirmation regarding the omittance of Jones from their website’s roster page.
WWE’s silence on the matter does feel a little eerie but there’s probably nothing to worry about. Jones showed a lot of promise during his debut for WWE. Moreover, the

New Day

is an excellent environment for him to be in. There’s a lot a young star like Jones can learn from veterans like Xavier Woods and especially Kofi Kingston.
If Jones’ omittance was a mistake WWE will shortly catch onto it and rectify it. On the other hand, if Jones’ contract has been terminated we should hear something about it over the coming weeks. Fans will be hoping that this ends up being just a mistake on WWE’s end. Dave Metlzer on the other hand believes that Jones is done in WWE.
