WWE superstar Omari Jahi Palmer, better known by his ring name Odyssey Jones, has been removed from the company's roster due to domestic violence accusations.

This news comes after Palmer was quietly removed from the roster section of the WWE website.

There was originally confusion surrounding Palmer's departure, specifically because he was in the middle of a storyline with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of The New Day and WWE never mentioned that he had been released.

"His angle is done, no mention on the show, no clips of like if he was injured or something, no acknowledgement of him at all," said Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio.

"Kofi Kingston was on and there was no acknowledgement of what they've been doing. So, I mean he's off. He's gone. As far as the reasons why, I think that will probably come out."

Since then, it has been confirmed by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com that Jones has been accused of domestic violence.

According to Sapp, there has been no news of "an arrest or charges being pressed in relation to the situation." Additionally, talent had not been informed of the situation.

WRKD Wrestling also confirmed the information, saying that Sapp's report corroborated the allegations they had discovered earlier.

According to WRKD Wrestling, the accusations against Palmer were made in July, but it's unknown when WWE first became aware of them.

Additionally, PWInsiderElite.com has reported that people backstage believe that Palmer is done with the company and that any plans for him are "off the table."

Formerly an offensive guard for the Syracuse Orange football team, Palmer made his professional wrestling debut on Nov. 7, 2019.

After going on a brief hiatus, he made his return as Odyssey Jones and wrestled in WWE 205 Live and WWE NXT. After needing surgery due to a ruptured patellar tendon, he would make his return to NXT on Oct. 25, 2022.

Palmer was drafted to the RAW brand in the 2023 WWE Draft. He finally made his RAW debut in August 2024 working with The New Day as they battled The Final Testament.

At the time, it seemed that Palmer would be the catalyst to a break up between Woods and Kingston, although that will no longer come to pass.
