Olivia Rodrigo is returning to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame stage on Friday (Nov. 3), as it was announced this week that she’ll be performing for the second year in a row.
“@oliviarodrigo will perform with one of her heroes at the #RockHall2023 Induction Ceremony,” Rock Hall’s post on Instagram on Wednesday (Nov. 1) reads, though the caption did not indicate which honoree specifically Rodrigo will perform with. This year’s inductees are Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, George Michael, Willie Nelson, Rage Against the Machine and The Spinners, along with DJ Kool Herc and Link Wray for musical influence; Chaka Khan, Al Kooper and Bernie Taupin for musical excellence; and Don Cornelius for the Ahmet Ertegun Award (formerly known as the non-performers award).
The event, which will take place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, will feature additional performances by Stevie Nicks, Adam Levine, Carrie Underwood, Common, Ice-T, LL Cool J, Miguel, Queen Latifah and Sia.
Last year, Rodrigo took the Rock Hall stage to honor 2022 inductee Carly Simon by performing the icon’s 1972 hit, “You’re So Vain.”
This year’s induction ceremony will be broadcast live on Disney+ on Friday (Nov. 3) at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT and will be available to stream after the event. ABC will also air a prime-time special, 2023 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, featuring performance highlights and special moments on Jan. 1 at 8 p.m. ET, before it becomes available the next day on Hulu and Disney+.
