Manu makes a foul in his final attempt and finishes at the sixth spot with a best throw of 13.86m. Kudratillokhon Marufkhujaev of Uzbekistan wins the gold medal with a best throw of 16.37m. It is also his personal best. Tunisia's Ahmed Ben Moslah (15.40m) takes silver while Tolibboy Yuldashev (15.24m) of Uzbekistan wins bronze.

Manu got a distance of 13.86m in his fourth attempt before throwing the shot put to 13.07m in his fifth and penultimate attempt. He is currently at the sixth spot.
