KUALA LUMPUR – A 53-year-old Malaysian man has been charged with the murder of his mother in an incident three years ago. He is alleged to have stored her body after the offence.

He allegedly committed the offence between March 21 and March 26, 2021.
The charge under Section 302 of the Penal Code carries a death sentence or imprisonment between 30 and 40 years and a minimum 12 strokes of the cane.
Looking dishevelled, Deanesh, who was in a wheelchair in court, said he understood the charge.
