From fitness guru to a respected head coach, Australia’s Peter Cklamovski is Harimau Malaya’s new coach from Jan 1, 2025.

The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) announced the decision earlier today.

The 46-year-old Cklamovski replaces Pau Marti Vicente, who is currently overseeing the team’s performance in the Asean Championship Cup, where it is third in Group A behind Thailand and Singapore.

The national team will play Singapore on Dec 20 in a must-win match to qualify for the semifinals.

Vicente has served as caretaker coach since Kim Pan-gon’s abrupt departure on July 16. On Dec 5, the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) announced that it would replace Vicente and his panel of coaches.
