Netherlands deserved their win, having score the more goals, but also having created enough decent chances to expect a more comfortable victory than they managed. They're almost definitely through, while Poland will probably need something against Austria, who they meet on Friday.

To me, Frimpong is not someone you toss on with nine and change to go; he needs time to work the opportunities to explode. Weghorst, OK, the ball might break to him, or he might win a header, but the Leverkusen man needs to play a longer game.
