FPL GW14 stats: Salah reaches 150 points in RECORD time in ...
4 Dec 2024
Mohamed Salah (£13.2m) underlined his status in Fantasy Premier League as he set yet another record in his incredible season by becoming the fastest player EVER to register 150 points, after just 14 Gameweeks.

In another piece of history, for the first time THREE players were captained by more than two million managers in FPL, with Erling Haaland (£15.0m), Cole Palmer (£11.0m) and Salah all backed en masse.
But it was Salah who once again came out on top with his 10th double-figure haul of the campaign, leaving his rivals in the dust.
Liverpool's star scored twice and supplied an assist in the Reds' 3-3 draw at Newcastle United to claim the maximum three bonus and an 18-point return - his best score of 2024/25 Fantasy.
It is also six points more than Palmer and Haaland produced between them, and in recording his 10th double-digit haul, Salah surpassed his total from the whole of last season.
If Salah can keep going at this rate, he'll reach a staggering 410 points over the campaign, eclipsing the current record of 303 points which he set in the 2017/18 season. For comparison, he's currently 43 points better off than he was after 14 Gameweeks in 2017/18.

The No 1 captain choice for Gameweek 13, Haaland saw an increase of more than 100,000 backers from the weekend.
But, despite gaining more armbands, he also found himself among the two most-sold players for the fourth successive Gameweek as he continues to divide opinion.
Indeed, Haaland's ownership has slipped below 50 per cent for the first time since his Premier League debut. Both Salah and Palmer are now owned by a greater number of managers.
Those who opted for Palmer or team-mate Nicolas Jackson (£8.2m) didn't fare much better.
Palmer registered just two points more than Haaland in Chelsea's 5-1 win at Southampton, with a second-half goal giving him a seven-point return.
Having totalled a match-high Expected Goal Involvement (xGI) of 1.82, the 2m+ who captained him will feel a little unlucky that it wasn't more.
They will at least feel relieved that he won his race against team-mate Christopher Nkunku (£5.8m) to prod a loose ball over the goalline from close range in the 76th minute, especially as he was substituted just three minutes later.
He later apologised to Nkunku in an Instagram post, saying: "Sorry but my FPL managers needed me."
It was even worse for those who captained or transferred in Jackson.
The top recruit for Gameweek 14, snapped up by more than 888,000 people, Jackson spent the entire evening on the Chelsea bench as the "curse" of the most-bought player struck again.
It's the fifth consecutive Gameweek in which the No 1 transfer target has failed to produce immediate returns.
Jackson's benching and blank will have been particularly frustrating for the 228,087 managers who bought the Chelsea forward in place of Alexander Isak (£8.4m), who shook off an injury to start against Liverpool, get a goal and an assist and deliver an 11-point haul.
Bukayo Saka (£10.4m) was also in demand, having equalled his career-best return last Saturday with 18 points away to West Ham United. He acquired 765,000+ new owners and featured among the top five captains.
However, he was unable to repeat his heroics from the London Stadium, blanking as Arsenal beat Manchester United 2-0.
