Recently, to catch a glimpse of Thalaivar, many enthusiastic fans mobbed the superstar outside Coimbatore airport. A video has surfaced on social media wherein the 'Jailer' actor, attired in a black t-shirt and white pants, could be seen struggling to reach his car as fans surrounded him to take selfies with their idol. Despite such a massive crowd, he waved at his fans and greeted them with folded hands, a kind gesture that won the internet. While showering their love on the veteran actor, one fan said, 'There is no one like him', another called him the 'Boss.' Notably, Rajinikanth was in Coimbatore for a family function for which he even canceled his meeting with former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu. Meanwhile, on the professional front, Rajinikanth was last seen in 'Jailer.' Helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar the film turned out to be a big hit churning out the worldwide collection of ₹601.6 crore and a net collection of ₹343.72 crore in India.
