Real Madrid concluded their institutional celebrations for winning their 15th Champions League with a visit to the Madrid City Hall, before heading to Cibeles and Santiago Bernabéu to celebrate the title with their fans.

Club president Florentino Pérez was the first to disembark from the bus upon arrival from the Community of Madrid, greeting Madrid's mayor, Martínez-Almeida. Team captain Nacho Fernández led the players' delegation, carrying the Champions League trophy and basking in the adulation of numerous fans gathered to see their idols up close.

Nacho Fernández humorously addressed Mayor Almeida, a known Atlético Madrid fan, about a promise he made three weeks ago during the La Liga celebrations. Almeida had promised to wear a Real Madrid jersey if the team returned with the Champions League title.

“Mayor, we’re here once again, with another European Cup. We never fail; we always keep our promises until the end. And I say this because we’re going to forgive you for something since you have Teresa - your wife - who is a big Madridista. And you’ve already shown goodwill by coming in a white shirt, which means you’re changing,” said Nacho.

The ceremony concluded with the customary exchange of gifts, including a special book for the four players who have won six Champions League titles: Nacho, Dani Carvajal, Luka Modric, and Toni Kroos.
