OTD: Cristiano Ronaldo nets landmark Man Utd goal in style

This date in 2008 marked a special occasion for one of the game's greats.

It was then that Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo netted his 100th goal for the club.

Typically for Ronaldo, it came in stunning fashion too as he rifled a glorious long-range free-kick home from a difficult angle.

Sixteen years later, he is still scoring too and is on the trail of 1,000 career goals.
