Sarfaraz Khan has been at the heart of praise since his impressive debut knock on Day 2 of the Rajkot Test between India and England. The debutant batter won hearts on Sunday after he was seen going all out with his celebratory gestures after his batting partner Yashasvi Jaiswal completed his double hundred on Sunday at the Niranjan Shah Stadium.

Yashasvi and Sarfaraz scripted a massively impressive 172-run stand in just 158 balls, which helped India set up a mammoth target of 557 for England.

Yashasvi Jaiswal's brilliance has been one of the top highlights of the current series. This was further enhanced when the 22-year-old secured his second double century on Day 4, despite having to return to the crease after having retired hurt due to back spasms on Saturday.

IND vs ENG 3rd Test: Live score

The gritty performance from the left-handed batter saw him walking back to the Indian dressing room with a phenomenal and unbeaten 214 runs off 236 and a joint record for the most sixes in a Test series.

At the other end of the crease, Sarfaraz Khan added to his dream Test debut with another explosive half-century comprising 6 fours and 3 sixes, giving equally crucial support to Jaiswal. However, what has become a talking point for pundits and fans alike is how the batter took full joy in his partner's achievement.

The Mumbai-born player was seen running with both hands raised in the air, after Jaiswal got to his hundred. Sarfaraz's gesture highlighted the camaraderie between players in the Indian dressing room as the hosts were inching toward a big victory in Rajkot.

Only a few overs before Jaiswal got to the landmark, Sarfaraz was also seen having an animated chat with his batting partner due to a miscommunication while taking a quick run between the wickets. It was understandable as Sarfaraz was run-out for 62 in the first innings of his Test debut after a mix-up with first-innings centurion Ravindra Jadeja.

India were cruising toward a big win on Sunday as they rattled England with the ball, leaving them 50 for 7 in the final session on Day 4.
