The Serie A transfer window slammed shut yesterday and while the headline was that Victor Osimhen will stay at Napoli, there were multiple other incomings at Italian sides.

At Get Italian Football News, we look at some of the best transfers that took place in the summer transfer window in Italy.

Taremi makes the list not just because he arrived on a free transfer but because he fixes an important issue for the Nerazzurri, who didn’t have hugely reliable back-up strikers under Simone Inzaghi and Taremi has already impressed in his first start for the club against Lecce.

He brings goals and consistency to the table and has a fair amount of experience of playing Europe, which is what Inter want right now.

He’s a very reliable at covering wide spaces and is pretty good on the ball, making him tailor made for Atalanta and meeting their demands for age and profile.

Soule’s move to Roma is a big deal. He arrives from Juventus on a permanent deal and will play together with Paulo Dybala and Artem Dovbyk and while Roma haven’t quite looked bright so far this season, there is enough talent in the side to get better.

Soule can play on either side and centrally – as seen at Juve and Frosinone, while boasting of a pure technical ability that very few players of his age can have. He might not make immediate impact but the Argentine will catch fire and when he does, there will be a lot of entertainment at the Olimpico.
