About the show:
Singaporean author Melissa De Silva goes to Malacca and Goa where her ancestors hail from, to discover more about the roots of Eurasian culture and identity. She wants to learn about the origins of Curry Debal (also known as Curry Devil), a quintessential Eurasian dish. By figuring out how the cuisine of the Eurasians travelled from Europe to Asia and evolved, she learns more about a parallel story of colonial migration and understands who the Eurasians are, how they came to be.
