Smile 2

Ready for more terrifying smiles? After the major box office success of Smile in 2022, the scary story is back for round two. The first film is about a therapist who has a series of disturbing visions after seeing a patient die by suicide. This is to say: She sees people making a really freaking weird smile and warning her of her own death. Yikes! The sequel switches things up. Smile 2 is about a pop star, who begins having the same sorts of visions. Naomi Scott stars as the singer, Skye Riley, and the cast also includes Rosemarie DeWitt, Lukas Gage, and Kyle Gallner, the latter of whom was also featured in the first movie as the police officer Joel.

If this sounds like your thing, but you'd rather watch from the comfort of your non-spooky, well-lit home, here's when and where Smile 2 will be streaming.

Where is Smile 2 streaming?

Since Smile 2 is being released by Paramount Pictures, naturally, it will stream on the studio's platform, Paramount+. As reported by Variety in 2022, it was announced that starting in 2024 all Paramount Pictures movies would head to the streaming service after their release.

But is Smile 2 on Paramount+ yet?

Smile 2 hit theaters on October 17, and since it's a strictly theatrical release at first, it won't be available to stream right away. Generally, Paramount Pictures new releases hit Paramount+ around two months after their theatrical release. For example, the Mean Girls musical debuted in theaters on January 12 and headed to Paramount+ on March 5. Bob Marley: One Love hit theaters February 14 and then Paramount+ on April 12. IF premiered on May 17 and began streaming July 9.

What if I don’t have Paramount+?

Well, if Smile 2 is still in theaters near you, you can have a real cinematic experience. It's a horror movie! Those are really fun in theaters! Plus, you can get overpriced popcorn and a giant soda.

The other option is to rent or buy the movie, such as on Amazon Prime Video, when it is available VOD.

The other other option is to either sign up for Paramount+ or sign up for a one-week free trial. Whatever you decide to do, just be ready to be scared by those super creepy smiles. Might I suggest giving yourself a bit of time between the movie ending and going to bed? Scary movies are a good time. Nightmares, not so much.
