Italy is passing the ball around to find a way through. A corner comes in from the left for the Italians. Bryan Cristante tries to just touch it into goal but Unai Simon does well to catch it.

Calafiori scores an own goal!! Nico Williams gets the ball on the left side of the box. He gets past his man and whips in a cross into the box. Donnarumma gets a slight touch on the ball before it deflects off Calafiori into the goal.

Williams plays a ball through for Cucurella who made a run into the box. Cucurella looks up and fires a pass into Pedri in the middle.

The Barcelona man hits it first time and the ball goes wide of the left post.

Corner comes in for Spain from the right. The Italian defence clears the ball away and Pedri takes it and gives it to Yamal on the right. He gets past his man but his touch is heavy and Donnarumma comes and collects the ball.

Rodri misses the next match after he gets booked for dissent. And it looks like that is the last major action of the half as the referee blows the whistle for half time.

Italy tries to counter after a chance at the other end. Chiesa gets the ball on the right and goes for a shot. It sails over the bar.

Looks like Italy is waiting for half-time to arrive as Di Lorenzo takes his own time to take a throw in.

Pedri drives down the middle again and lays the ball off to Morata. He cuts away from two defenders and the ball falls loose to Ruiz who shoots it first time. Easy save for Donnarumma in the end.

Another moment for magic from Williams who finds Pedri on the left corner of the penalty box with a backheel. Pedri gives it back to Williams who made a run into the box.

Alessandro Bastoni does well to stick a leg out to clear the ball away from danger.

Pedri gets the ball in Italy’s half. He runs down the middle and tries to find Morata who made a run into the box. Calafiori anticipates the pass and clears it away.

Spain is applying pressure on the Italian defence, creating chance after chance. The defending champion gets a breather after Morata brings down Di Lorenzo while contesting for the ball.

Spain with a lovely flowing passing move. Fabian Ruiz cuts a pass to Dani Carvajal who made a run on the right wing. He cuts back to the edge of the box where Rodri hits it first time.

The Italian defence stands strong to make the block.

Ruiz is on the ball and he goes for the goal from distance. Donnarumma with another good save to keep his side in the tie.

Le Normand finds Yamal and he turns away brilliantly from his defender. He wriggles into the box with beautiful technique and lays the ball off to Morata.

He takes too much time before shooting the ball from a tight angle. Donnarumma makes himself big to make the save.

Italy is on the attack now. Dimarco with the ball on the left and he puts in a pass into the box. It goes behind the Italian players and falls to Fabian Ruiz who stay calm to take the ball away from danger.

Spain is enjoying a good spell of possession now. Williams gets past Di Lorenzo once again on the left. Jorginho makes sure that he stops the run before Williams can go for goal.

Rodri wins the ball in the middle and finds Williams on the left. He puts in a cross which sails over everyone in the box.

Morata on the left wing spots Williams inside the box. He plays in a beautiful cross which Williams heads off target from point-blank range. A chance wasted.

Laporte brings down Frattesi while he was trying to make a run. They take the freekick quickly and Scamacca tries to set up Frattesi with a backheel but it is cleared away.

Pellegrini goes down after a challenge from Pedri while the Spaniard was trying to stretch for the ball. 

Pellegrini seems to be in a lot of pain right now. The referee stops play for medical assistance.

Spain has started on the front foot here. Nico Williams has gotten past Di Lorenzo twice already. Italy wins the ball back to calm things down.
