The Menlo Park Library is launching a brand new book group — just for kids ages 6-12!
Middle Grade Book Group is an in-person group for kids between the ages of 6 and 12 who are interested in reading chapter books. Every month the facilitator will choose a chapter book whose publisher-assigned age rating is between 8 and 12.
On Saturday, September 21, from 4:30 to 5;30 PM, come to the Menlo Park Library (800 Alma St) to discuss this month’s book (and soon to be movie), The Wild Robot, by Peter Brown.
When robot Roz opens her eyes for the first time, she discovers that she is alone on a remote, wild island. Why is she there? Where did she come from? And most important, how will she survive in her harsh surroundings?
Middle Grade Book Group meets in person on the 3rd Saturday of each month.
