NMA - UCL MD-2 Rate My Team

It’s going to take a little time to adjust to the new format. I’m going to need to be way more proactive as the season moves forward if I’m going to have a decent season. I didn’t look enough ahead.

Thankfully it’s a long season.

Everyone else. Meh.

Captaining Kane salvaged an otherwise pretty mediocre week. It generally takes me some time to get going in UCL. I get overwhelmed initially, and it feels like I’m throwing darts (badly) to pick non-household names. That changes as the stats start to come in.

I took two zeros and a one pointer. Only three payers besides Kane scored seven or more. That’s just not good enough. But, did I mentioned that I captained Harry Kane? Captain can make or break you. I’m glad I got that one right.

I had to use my transfers to grab players who are going to play. I’m relatively happy with my back line, and while it didn’t play out in MD-1, it’s pretty solid.

Yunus Musah, Nuno Santos, and Juan Cuadrado are out. Robert Andrich, Hugo Magnetti, and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens are all in based on their MD-1 performances.

Am I bummed about two keepers on the same day? Yes.

Am I worried about injuries from Haaland and Kane? Of course.

But here we are. I need people who will play.

I’m giving Haaland the armband to start it off, then I’ll look at Vinny Junior or Kane, if need be.
