Guardiola says Man City ‘are not here to judge’ after Real snub Ballon d’Or ceremony
Defending champions Real Madrid welcome AC Milan to the Bernabeu on Tuesday night for their UEFA Champions League clash.
The hosts will hope to bounce back after their most recent match, a 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Clasico rivals Barcelona, who are nine points clear of them at the top of La Liga.
And with star man Vinicius Junior having missed out on the Ballon d'Or to Manchester City's Rodri, resulting in the Spanish giants boycotting the ceremony, they may feel they have a point to prove in the European competition they have dominated more than any other side.
Milan, meanwhile, will hope to improve on their fairly tepid start to the season - but face a challenge against a club they haven't beaten in the Champions League since all the way back in 2009.
Real Madrid are 12th in the Champions League table, having won two and lost one. AC Milan are further down in 25th place, having lost two but won their most recent encounter against Club Brugge.
