Du Plessis (22-2 MMA, 8-0 UFC) rejected Adesanya's (24-4 MMA, 13-4 UFC) attempt to become a three-time champion when he ended the grudge match with a fourth-round submission victory at RAC Arena in Perth, Australia.

Really good moments from both guys in Rd 2. DDP isn’t taking many backward steps but I don’t know if he can keep up that pace wrestling with Izzy. That guy just doesn’t stay down for long.
